Oatmeal Drop Cookies

Ingredients
½ cup shortening 1¾ cups sugar 2 eggs ½ cup molasses 1¾ cups flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 tsp cinnamon 2 cups rolled oats ½ cup chopped nuts 1 cup raisins
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. 2. Mix together the shortening, sugar, eggs, and molasses. 3. Blend in the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon). 4. Add the rolled oats, nuts, and raisins. 5. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. 6. Bake for 8 to 12 minutes.
